I’m hard at work on my latest novel about a woman who loses custody of her only child and how it shapes her and her son’s life. It’s a novel about loss and redemption and the difficulties inherent in being a single parent. Like my first novel, IN A MOTHER’S ARMS, the setting starts in the first half of the twentieth century in Norwich, Connecticut. It takes her forty-seven years for her to make amends and seek to reunite with her son. Will anything come of it?
